Astorath is the High Chaplain of the Blood Angels, and while he fulfils all of the normal duties of his station – safeguarding his brothers’ faith and guiding the Chapter along the path of righteousness – he has a darker role: sending those gripped by the Black Rage to an honourable rest should they survive battle.
 
On the battlefield, he strikes from the skies with a massive two-handed axe, lopping heads from shoulders with an ease borne from extensive experience.
